The 164th session saw another attendee obtaining FQO status. Bob Stringer became the 18th FQO by completing his assignment as dispatcher. Bob did an excellent job and even handled some unexpected problems as if he had staffed the dispatcher's position many times before. Engine 44 lost steam (overheated) while trying to pull 18 cars out of Thorny Point to White Hall. After several tries, orders were written for a light engine move to provide helper service to the Thorny Point Extra. Four Hood Turns were run and a lot of backlog was cleared up. All in all a very good session.
