February 16, 2019 - What a session! It started with the train order system running out of ink on the first Form A and no replacement ink cartridge available. So the session was run on verbal authority. Not much difference from a normal session where the Form 19s and Form As are ignored by the train crews. Erwin was in the process of getting his FQO status by filling his last required position as White Hall yardmaster. Things started out rough in White Hall but began to settle down as the session progressed. However the weather did not settle down as forecasted. It had been sleeting all day and so at 2:15 I decided to shut the session down at 3:00 so all attendees could get home before dark. Of course as soon as we turned the layout off the sleet stopped and the sun came out. Always nice to have Murphy at your side. We certainly put on a show for the apprentice Bill Wurtzell. A continuation session was proposed and seemed to have a fair amount of support. This session was run on February 28th with six crew members that didn't get enough abuse on the 16th.
