March 17, 2012 - The 91st operating session was the smoothest running session to date from a layout standpoint. I didn't hear of any switch or rolling stock issues that were not self induced. This was the first session to use clearance forms and the first session to focus much more on the finer points of TT/TO operation. We tried to understand how to handle the various issues (such as one train loosing its timetable authority due to time) and what train orders and clearance forms were needed. Hopefully we will be transitioning more towards understanding the why's and how to's and more away from just running trains. It was a good start today. And the conservation after the session was centered around the finer points of TT/TO operation. Another good sign.
