Attendees: Glenn Downing, Bill Mosteller (tpym), Dick Munnikhuysen (whym) and Doug Barry.
The first Wednesday night session of 2012 went fairly smoothly. Of course the two switches that gave me problems during the last session and I had working before this session quit again. However I did determine the problem had moved from the swivel to the points and I believe I now have them fix, again. The Digitrax system went into sleep mode but at least this time I knew what it was and had the paper from Digitrax support on how to wake it up. This was the first session for #34 which was put into service hauling #10/11. Glenn got the honors. But coupler height variations due to track elevation changes and intermittent chuff rates proved to be problems that will need attention. I may just punt and place #10/11 under the control of a Consolidation 2-8-0 and be done with it. And finally the Digitrax radio feature showed it's colors toward the end of the session and acted up requiring the radio throttles to be plugged in. This happens from time to time and usually goes away. You just gotta love Digitrax!
