September 18, 2011 - The 83rd session, WOW! This was one busy session! Four extras ran in addition to all of the other normal traffic. However the dispatcher (Wayland) operator (Steve) and White Hall yard staff (Glenn and Jerry) did an excellent job of keeping everything moving as well as could be expected. Though there were times in White Hall when chaos seemed to rule! The first of the four extras was a work extra that ran to Hood to fill the water tower. Next was the CEO running from White Hall to Brooke and back proceeded by the Kipper. Then came the 2nd Hood Turn to deliver stock cars to Hood Brothers Packing. To handle all of this extra traffic we expanded the crew size by one which allowed Mike Pulaski to join us after a very long absence. We experienced some electrical problems around the switches (which is normal but not accepted) and one place in White Hall where the track seemed to buckle causing passenger cars to derail going into the station. (That will be quickly fixed.) And Mike Kipps joined the Jerry Ritter club and sent all of his Thorny Point yard cars to White Hall. I didn't hear anyone complain this session was too routine!
