Attendees: Doug Barry, Bill Mosteller, Dick Munnikhuysen (tpym), Bruce Kaufman.

The 73rd session started off with engine #31 (the Thorny Point yard engine) quitting. It exhibited the same problem that three other Bachmann engines have and that is an over heating of the motor controller circuit. It did restart but then quite again never to restart. Looks like it might be time for another decoder. Maybe seven years is the life expectancy of these things? After getting engine #32 to Thorny Point via double heading #110, Dick joined the Jerry Ritter club and sent most of the Thorny Point yard cars back to White Hall. This required an extra to get them to Hood so Dick could pick them up and take them back to Thorny Point. The failure of #31 also cause Dick to not get the freight ready before #110 arrived and this cause a lot of problems for him. Other than that everything went smoothly.
