December 1, 2010 - the 70th OPS session was a Wednesday night session. We had the typical problem with engine #43 where it would stop running at Hood. The overload protector for the motor circuit keeps tripping. After about 10 minutes it will reset and work fine for the rest of the session. I will need to look into this. We ran light engine #44 from White Hall to Hood to replace #43 but by the time #44 got to Hood #43 was working again so we sent #44 back to White Hall and #43 on to Thorny Point. Glenn seemed to have a problem selecting his route through Hood. He always started up the helix to go to Thorny Point. Things ran smoother from an operations point but the crews still need to pay closer attention to the orders, timetable and signals. Bruce was over an hour ahead of schedule with #5 when he left Hood where he was supposed to meet #120.
