Glenn joined the FQO (Fully Qualified Operator) ranks when he completed his assignment as dispatcher. The superintendent forgot to send an engine to Broadway during the last session and that required we do a light engine move from White Hall to Broadway to pickup the CEO at 5:00pm. We allowed the Broadway Turn to get into dark territory before getting orders to it telling it to keep in the clear from 5:00pm on until #1 passed. So we had to send orders to the Broadway Turn via the light engine move. The light engine move had to run at reduced speed until it found the Broadway Turn and gave them their orders. We were 30 minutes late picking up the CEO who just happened to come into the train room finding out we were late. We also use the MOW car #3 to set the route and signals for #1 from Hood to White Hall. That worked well and we had no delays of #1 from Broadway to White Hall. An audit of the cars after the session showed some very creative car spotting by the Broadway Turn and Hood Turn. There were quite a few that should have gone back to White Hall that were scattered around the various towns along the tracks.
