The 159th session was the WHITE FLAGS session. No we didn't surrender. In fact the railroad ran pretty well until the last few minutes when the radio function decided to stop working. The WHITE FLAGS refer to the use of white flags on the extras. These flags were provided by Wayland Moore and were used on all extras during the session. We had one saboteur in the crew. He started out trying to make a throttle inoperable. When he didn't succeed in that endeavor he moved on the ladder switch in White Hall. When a work around was found for that he started messing with the paper work and placing cars on trains that didn't belong. The pre-session briefing on walking your train was of no value since these wayward cars left White Hall only to be returned later in the session. Charles filled the dispatcher's positions and kept the railroad running smoothly. In fact all of the passenger trains ran on time. Several orders were written to setup meets between extras. The CEO managed to get to Thorny Point and back to White Hall without the use of the Kipper. If we have another successful CEO run without the Kipper then I will retire the Kipper. Glenn set a record in Thorny Point. He oversaw the first ever arrival of #10 with the Thorny Point Extra still in town! The Thorny Point Extra did eventually get back to White Hall. An attempt was made to run the MOW extra to Broadway but the system would not acquire engine #32 so we punted and left that for the next session.
