The 154th session started with someone putting the Digitrax system into sleep monde. (You gotta love some of the Digitrax designs. Why would you allow a system to be completely shut down with the press of just one button? Especially when this button can be accidentally pressed and not realized!) After finding the quick reference card I created, I got the system back up. Then I notice one of the blue lights on the Hood signal bridge was not working. Upon further observation I determine several of the signal lights were not working indicating the contacts on one of the tortoise switch machines is the culprit. For this session we had an apprentice. And as usual the apprentice out shinned the FQOs. The layout ran well and all of the passenger trains ran on time. The new auto text feature for the form 19s worked. And cow discussions were frequent.
