The 148th session held on September 16th, 2017 went fairly smoothly. However it did end with the loss of a flat car and caboose in the tunnel (helix) between Hood and Swift Run. Management is putting together a plan to salvage the missing equipment. The work train that did not get run last session got halfway run this session. An alternate crew will most likely come in and complete this run. The Thorny Point YM seemed to disregard the instructions and come up with a unique way to handle the work load. I don't think it was a better way but who knows. The dispatcher did an excellent job and a new White Hall YM managed to survive the session. Some track maintenance in the form of cleaning seems to be in order and will be performed before the next session.
