October 15, 2016 was the date of the 143rd session which started with the computer that controls the RF&P and helix interlocks indicating it could not find the operating system. Not a good start! So we ran the session without working interlocks which nobody complained about especially at the RF&P diamond. I staffed the White Hall yardmaster position to get a feel for it and see if any changes were needed. There weren't. Rick did an excellent job of dispatching and except for an equipment failure and an AWOL crew member all of the trains ran on time. Jerry proved to be an excellent White Hall assistant and between the two of us we had plenty of down time for cokes and cookies. I don't know what everyone has been complaining about in White Hall.
