The 127th session, held on March 21, 2015 really tried itself! It started with the radio throttles not working. All of them. After putting up with this for a while, I cycled the command station off and back on. That seemed to correct the issue for a few hours but it returned before the session was over. Of course engine 44 overheated again and took forever to get up the helix. I will try a new tsunami to see if that is the issue. A short in Brooke took down the entire layout, which it shouldn't. (Of course I could not replicate any of this after the session.) And I must have been on another planet when I staged the layout because there were several car cards with wrong BOLs or no BOLs and open load cars with wrong loads. And of course at least one turnout had to have electrical issues, that is a given. All of this was on top of a work extra that was scheduled to foul the Shenandoah Route for several hours. After a pre-session briefing by dispatcher Dick we did manage to get everything run within their two hour window and even ran a second Broadway Turn which was a first and probably last. I have sent emails to Digitrax and Soundtrax to see if they can provide any insight to the issues. Now on to April.
