August 16, 2014 - This was a very busy session and lasted almost four hours. We had a work extra between White Hall and Flat Top, the CEO moved from White Hall to Stanley and a MOW extra ran from White Hall to Stanley and back. Glenn got caught in traffic coming from northern Virginia and this required us to move Mike from assistant White Hall yardmaster to yardmaster. Rick Lull became the 16th FQO with his dispatcher assignment. And we used the new train order system with the more complex train orders for the Broadway and Hood turns. Given all of this the session went very smoothly. The team of operator Philip and dispatcher Rick did an excellent job keeping the traffic flowing. And the team of White Hall yardmaster Mike and assistant Dick did an excellent job keeping a very busy (and full) White Hall yard flowing.
