February 15, 2014 - The 112th OPS session was the first use of timetable #20 which removed trains #120 and #130 from scheduled service and made them extras. This brought up some new issues the dispatcher will have to think about to keep things running smoothly. The session started with a work extra working on Bonnie Brooke trestle for four hours. This went smoothly and had little to no impact on the day's schedule. The eagle eyes of operator Bill found an error in the timetable so timetable #20 will be short lived and timetable #21 will be in effect for the March session. Most everything else went smoothly. We had a few engine stalls so I will look into cleaning the track and engines and doing some maintenance on the turnouts. And this sessions saw the Digitrax system go into sleep mode, once again. (I HATE this feature.) I knew there was exposure since one of the protective collars had come off one of the throttles. But I rolled the dice and decided not to glue it back until after the session. WRONG! That will be fixed before the next session.
