Attendees: Mike Kipps, Philip Taylor (whaym), Jerry Ritter (o), Steve Robbins (whym), Dick Munnikhuysen, Charles Curley (tpym), Bruce Kaufman, Peter Pfotenhauer (a) and Glenn Downing (d).

The November 16, 2013 session was the session of the "walking wounded". Of the nine attendees four were limping with two of those using canes. The dispatcher, Glenn was just 2.5 weeks out of knee replacement surgery (and seemed to being doing the best of the three), the host (yours truly) was suffering with tendonitis of the Achilles tendon, Bruce was just getting over a bout of tendonitis with the Achilles tendon and Philip was suffering from something of which I didn't catch the cause. Not a good sign. I notified the attendees that if it became necessary to install a stair chair to get us to the layout room the sessions would be over! On the positive side Cookie Monster (Bill Mosteller) provided cookies even though he did not attend. Unfortunately I can not give him credit on the seniority list for attending in sprit only. And Bruce also brought cookies thinking we would be without since Cookie Monster was not attending. We were not wanting for cookies at this session. This session hosted the second E&P apprentice, Peter. Peter did well and actually finished the Hood Turn duties in Hood before the operator, Jerry, expected. The session generally went very smoothly. But then nothing special was on the agenda. We did have to double head the Hood Turn but that was handled expertly by the dispatcher. And I believe the final passenger train actually ran on schedule. Or at least that is what I thought I heard.
