January 19, 2013 - The 102nd OPS session was a typical session with no special moves. However we did manage to run two passenger trains late enough to violate the two hour rule which kept the dispatcher busy writing orders and clearances. As usual we had a couple of switches with electrical problems that I will have to work on before the next session. And at least one of the engines that went through the maintenance routine ran less than perfect. But I have come to expect that. Hopefully it will settle down. Glenn took on the dispatcher and Jerry the operator duties and from a procedure standpoint everything went well. Wayland and Charles handled White Hall yard but lack of concentration (which is typical) on the passenger trains caused the violation of the two hour rule. And both George Gaige and Rick Lull got one step closer to FQO status.
